Reflection

I like free choice writing because you get to write about what you like. I like writing  about my family going on a trip or a hike. I’m great at writing because I do more then ten sentences. I need to work on making sure my sentences make sense. My favourite part of the term was learning new things because I like to tell my mum what I learnt and she would be very excited. I didn’t like PE because we were playing soccer and the ball hit me a couple times and it really hurt. When I kick the ball no one is in front of me so I can’t pass the ball. When the other team is not looking I tell someone in my team to get in front of me so I can pass to my teammates and get a score the other team got five scores and we got no scores at all.   We have been doing art we are doing clowns we have lots of bright and dark colours to we even have a border, a border is like a frame you can do shapes or just a straight line. I did stars and love hearts the stars were light blue and the love hearts were lipsticky red. I was the first one to use it. I used lots of dark colours so for the face I used white It looked like a whitey brown colour but it is mostly white. I didn’t get to finish though I just had to do the face.

We have been working on kites me and Kaya are a team our kite is made out of flax, wood, sticks, strings, shells. We used the flax to tie it together. The flax had to be thin. Me and Kaya were weaving it in a triangle but it didn't work.

Cross Country

When we did cross country it was Friday the 6th of June. I went with the whole entire school. We went to cross country because we wanted to race. We went to a farm for cross country.  I came in 4th place the year 1 and 2 went first and then the year 6 and 5 went, next and the year 3 went, next and the year 4 went last. The yer 4 decided if they wanted to go throw the water or the bridge. The year 3 and 1 and 2  ran a cross the bridge there were 2 bridges. At the finish line my shoe came off. The year 3 and 2 and 1 had to run across mud I got my white socks muddy and stained them. I fall over a couple of times.  After school I went to practice my ukulele and then I had a little nap.   I was telling mum what was my favourite part. My favourite part was having fun and running I like challenges I told mum.

Vocabulary

Novice means a beginner at something.

Vocab

I think bolt means you run very fast across the grass. I can bolt across the grass fast.  Bolt also means a lightning bolt struck my house and bolt also means you can use a bolt to bolt the door shut.

Cybersmart

I will not send inappropriate stuff. I will not bash the keyboard.You should never hold your chromebook by the lid.You should never put your chromebook on the floor . You should never hold your chromebook with one hand. And you should never throw your chromebook on the ground.

Doubles to Twenty

My group did Doubles to 20 we had to use shapes and materials to figure it out. I learnt that all the answers make an even number.

Maths Shapes

I have made me and my dog. My dog is a sausage dog. I made my dog and chewing on my shoes. I used 5 squares and 15 triangles, 4 rhombus and 2 hexagons. I learnt about a hexagon and that it has 6 corners and 6 sides.
