Doubles to Twenty

My group did Doubles to 20 we had to use shapes and materials to figure it out. I learnt that all the answers make an even number.

Maths Shapes

I have made me and my dog. My dog is a sausage dog. I made my dog and chewing on my shoes. I used 5 squares and 15 triangles, 4 rhombus and 2 hexagons. I learnt about a hexagon and that it has 6 corners and 6 sides.

Art

First we wrote our name on the back of the piece of paper then we painted it then we let it dry. We wrote about our self on it and then we glued it on dyed paper. This is what we came up with. Then we took a picture of our self and glued it on. I like my colourful background.  I like doing art in Tui.
